About La Mer Suites

Located just a couple of blocks from the main tourist area, the location is hard to beat and an excellent choice for guests that decide a rental car is not necessary.  With at least 20 restaurants within easy walking distance, there are plenty of choices in every price range.  Weekends are lively with live music at several places just a few blocks away. Gift stores, specialty stores, boutiques, and other shops are just a couple of blocks away.  A large supermarket and a Walgreens drugstore are less than ½ mile away. 

Of course, the beach, just 2 blocks away, is the main attraction and Lauderdale by The Sea has one of the nicest family-oriented beaches in South Florida.  Public spaces with Adirondack chairs for chilling out are at the beach near the entrance to the famous Lauderdale by The Sea Anglins Pier where you can fish or simply enjoy the view.  Beach diving is extremely popular here with a reef just a couple hundred yards offshore and a plentiful and amazing array of Atlantic sea creatures. 

La Mer provides a number of convenience items for guests, including beach chairs, carts for transporting things to the beach or store, umbrellas and other beach items. There is a small business and laundry center on-site free of charge to guests and a gathering area in the main courtyard. 

There are an endless array of things to rent in the area, including boats, jet skis, paddle boards, diving/snorkeling gear, scooters, bikes, motorcycles, 3-wheelers, and specialty vehicles to enhance your vacation experience.
